Minimum profile required
Skill, Knowledge & Experience:
· A Master of Science (M.S) degree in Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent experience to a Master's degree,
· Former experience in or with NCIA, thorough knowledge of NCIA project management processes, and conversant with NATO policy and procurement procedures (asset),
· Experience as a project manager in Communications and Information System (CIS) projects (at least 3 years) or experience as a project team leader (at least 3 years),
· Deployable to operational theatres on short notice, for a limited period of time (Note: NCIA will take care of pre-deployment trainings if needed),
· Experience in applying multi-discipline engineering and management techniques in the acquisition of complex CIS,
· Experience in managing, planning, design, system engineering and implementation of military or similar CIS,
· Knowledge in and experience with current technologies relevant to the work,
· Proven ability to communicate effectively in English, orally and in writing, with good briefing skills,
· A formal qualification in project management (PRINCE2 and/or PMP),
· English 4343 (see STANAG 6001),
· Able to operate autonomously under time pressure, and able to multitask continuously,
· Ability to independently produce project documentation in English, including comprehensive Price Proposals and Statements of Work,
· Ability to interact and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (including customers) as per the principles and best practices for stakeholder management,
· Experience of working in an international environment, preferably comprising both military and civilian staff,
· Thorough knowledge in and experience with the use of Microsoft Project or Service Now,
· Able to learn new procedures and terminology quickly and enthusiastically.
