Minimum profile required
Skill, Knowledge & Experience:
• Design, implement, test and document Client Server systems into production while following standards and procedures.
• Administering Citrix provisioning Services.
• Farm and Servers Reports / Maintenance.
• Installing / publishing applications in Citrix farms.
• Support F5 and Access Gateway solutions to support scalable delivery of applications and desktops to various endpoints.
• Thin client migration transformation.
• Day to day handling of Citrix Issues/Citrix User Issues.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support and assistance (diagnose and resolve issues).
• Determine and maintain software upgrades and patch installs for servers.
• Assists the Solution Architect in the architecture design and definition.
• Writes documentation related to design, installation, configurations of system parts related.
• Defining and documenting standard operating procedures.
• Works with Management team to manage expectations, deliverables, and satisfaction.
Additional needed qualification, knowledge, and skills
• Minimum 5 years of experience in CITRIX engineering in large and complex projects providing solution design services in line with organizational objectives and business requirements.
• Experience in implementation and support Citrix XenApp / Citrix XenDesktop (XenApp 4.5, XenApp/XenDesktop 6.5, XenApp/XenDesktop 7.5) in multiple environments.
• Hands-on experience of XenApp configuration, XenDesktop, Provisioning Server, some hypervisor and management experience (vSphere/vCenter).
• Experience with and knowledge of third-party solutions related to desktop virtualization – including thin terminals, thin boot applications, profile/personality management, print management, etc
• A strong background in Microsoft based systems and the interrelated technologies (Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2016 with Terminal Services Role).
• Basic Active Directory functionalities.
• SCCM Knowledge.
• Experience with CITRIX implementation with F5.
• PowerShell Scripting.
• Understanding of Storage Area Networks.
• Understanding Networks including TCP/IP protocols, DNS, WINS, DHCP.
• Understanding of VMware ESX/vSphere, including HA, DRS, vMotion and Virtual Center.
• Understanding of web servers and web application servers (IIS).
• Experience as identifying and presenting technology solutions to support the requirements of the business
• Experience with Appsense design and implementation.
• Good knowledge of PKI infrastructure.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in highly available environments with multiple site support (Business continuity and disaster recovery planning technics, technologies, exercising and testing).
• Excellent analysis and problem solving.
• Prioritizing incidents, requests, and changes.
• Very good technical writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide in depth as well as high-level technical presentations for different technical level stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of IT technical engineering to perform tasks and interact with the other engineer specialists.
